State-of-the-art training in HSC transplantation
Postdoctoral degree in Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation
The Université de Montréal’s Faculty of Medicine and the Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation Centre of Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital’s Department of Hematology and Oncology have developed a world-class training program leading to a postdoctoral degree in HSC transplantation.
This program for transplantation excellence, which is spread over two years and offers the option of a third year, is accompanied by a grant.
Developed and directed by a team of hematologist-transplant specialists whose expertise is recognized by the worldwide medical community, it offers one of North America’s most complete training programs in transplantation. The Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation Fellowship combines a solid theoretical base with clinical and laboratory training in cellular therapy. It also encourages and supports the development of clinical research projects.
A program custom tailored for hematologist-oncologists
The program is designed for graduate physicians who hold specialist certification in internal medicine, and Québec, Canadian or foreign graduate hematologist-oncologists who wish to acquire state-of-the-art training in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in line with CanMEDS competencies (Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada) and the existing standards for hospital accreditation (CCHSA, FACT, etc.).
